Cookbook Sneak Peek: Jane Austen’s Table

Alright, this new literature-themed cookbook doesn’t come out until March 2022 – an agonizing wait! But I wanted to let you know about Jane Austen’s Table (via Amazon; affiliate link) as soon as possible so you can join me in anticipating this upcoming treasure.

I am a huge Jane Austen fan and I’m almost going out of my mind with excitement over this literary cookbook!

This cookbook will present over 50 themed recipes inspired by the people and places in Jane Austen’s novels.

The recipes have been adapted and reinvented for modern times. (For example, in the Regency era, the cardamom used for “Frank Churchhill’s Cardamom Coffee” would have been quite expensive and difficult to procure).

On Amazon, we can see sneak preview pics of recipes including Lydia’s Whim-Whams, Perfect Picnic Parcels, Chicken Curry, and Frank’s Roast Vegetables. The publisher also promises us Charles Bingley’s White Soup, General Tilney’s Hot Chocolate, and Donwell Abbey Strawberry and Rose Delice. (Sounds delicious!)

You can rest assured that the moment I can get my hands on a preview copy of the “Jane Austen’s Table” cookbook (via Amazon; affiliate link), I’ll do a cookbook review and lookthrough video to post on Youtube and Instagram. Stay tuned!
