I think we should reward ourselves for doing a splendid job eating well! I’ve missed most of the celebratory delights in January, so I think I can indulge in February. And quite frankly, I want to start baking a few desserts that aren’t pies, since we are finally out of the holiday season.

I have a few family recipes I do this with and it is so helpful. Especially during the holidays! I cannot believe there are 60 recipes in this cookbook that utilize ice cream. Honestly, I can’t think of more than 10 ways of using ice cream. I am absolutely thrilled to see some new desserts. I can’t wait to try their ice cream pops or ice cream sandwiches!

This cookbook is divided up into: Fruit Fest, Chocolate Shoppe, Cool Creations, Party Time, Funky Favorites and Holiday Delights. Ice cream can be enjoyed all year around (I would know!) I am looking forward to trying some themed ice cream desserts that aren’t summer oriented!

These treats might be small, but they have big flavor. The recipes are a bit complicated and require some unique ingredients. Not to worry, there is a chapter of all your essentials, tools, and, ways to get started.
Hopefully by spring we will be able to have small gatherings like tea parties! I will be taking this time to practice baking and creating so when we do have the opportunity to get together it will be flawless!
