Gwyneth Paltrow’s Cookbook “It’s All Good: Delicious, Easy Recipes That Will Make You Look Good and Feel Great”

It’s no secret that people either love or hate Gwyneth Paltrow. Especially after her Netflix show “The Goop Lab,” she has been some what of a controversy. Paltrow has been obsessed with heath foods since forever. She has received a lot of criticism over the years, but the one thing I do know is she looks radiant and claims to feel amazing. Is this because of the things she eats, her genes, or something else? We can at least get a glimpse of this superstar’s daily ritual with one of her cookbooks.

Gwyneth Paltrow’s cookbook It’s All Good: Delicious, Easy Recipes That Will Make You Look Good and Feel Great is filled with fantastic non-processed recipes to get us started with clean eating.

To begin, Paltrow explains why she changed her diet. She felt extreme fatigue and faint oftentimes – something was wrong. Her doctor discovered she was lacking in many vitamins and minerals, she was anemic and her stress levels were sky high. He suggested an “elimination diet” to help cleanse her body so that it could heal naturally.

Admittedly, many of us have eaten a lot of the same foods for years (like Paltrow) and suddenly things feel off. Paltrow talks about our over-processed foods and how they are possibly the culprit to us not living to our fullest potential.

I enjoy her sharing this all too familiar story as the introduction. With It’s All Good: Delicious, Easy Recipes That Will Make You Look Good and Feel Great cookbook, we can look to a brighter future.

This cookbook is comprised of 304 pages and is divided up into these sections:

1) Foreward
2) Introduction
3) Behind the Icons (how to use this book)
4) Pantry
5) Morning Time
6) Salads
7) Soups
8) Birds+meat
9) Fish
10) Vegetables
11) Grains
12) Some Drinks
13) Kids Menu
14) Sweet Tooth
15) Weekly Menus

This 2013 cookbook has 185 recipes that follow Paltrow’s doctor’s orders. One of my favorite parts about this cookbook is how they’ve incorporated different kinds of weekly menus for each person (i.e. family friendly week, body building week, etc.)

Paltrow also understands the fear of losing all the flavor while eating clean. She too is an avid foodie, but has managed to create tasty recipes that also invigorate our bodies. Another tip, this “diet” isn’t permanent, so no pressure. Take recipes from It’s All Good: Delicious, Easy Recipes That Will Make You Look Good and Feel Great cookbook only if you want to or feel like your body needs a reset.

Despite Gwenyth Paltrow’s vast audience of haters and lovers, she has provided a very wonderful cookbook to help us start eating clean and healthy. It feels very authentic and the recipes all look wonderful. It’s All Good: Delicious, Easy Recipes That Will Make You Look Good and Feel Great cookbook has options for all individuals and families alike.
