There was no way I could pass up a cookbook that celebrates the original Friendsgiving.
Once I reached adulthood, I have since always celebrated Friendsgiving. I personally think it has all the best elements of Thanksgiving, sans the argumentative relatives! Good food, good people, and fun activities.
Being able to host the perfect Friendsgiving is incredibly important, that’s why I need the help of my favorite Friends (even Joey). Obviously this is a great option for those who share their Friends obsession with their loved ones. You will find recipes that are used in the Friends T.V. show that not only are fun, but tasty! I especially want to try the Righteous Mac n’ Cheese (guilty pleasure!) I noticed that some of the recipes are non-traditional and that’s on purpose! Jennifer Aniston writes that sometimes people get tired of having turkey every year, which I very much understand. There are so many other recipes you can cook for a Friendsgiving. Also, Friendsgiving can be done ANY time of year!
Unfortunately there is no number for how many food items there are, but with 176 pages front to back, I’m sure quite a bit! Plus there are 9 episodes of Friends-themed food to cover. In addition, the character Monica is an amazing chef, so I bet there will be plenty to choose from! I appreciate that even though this is based on a TV show, the pictures of the food are still noteworthy!
Now we can all celebrate Friendsgiving the way that Friends did it!
