This fun cookbook presents 100 vegetarian recipes arranged into fabulous dinner parties you can throw. There are cocktail recipes as well. My favorite part of this cookbook is that it has a chapter on what to do to use up and repurpose party leftovers the next morning.

The Cook and the Gardener: Recipes and Writings from France, by Amanda Hesser (April 22, 2025)

Here’s an updated new edition of a French cookbook from 1999. The author is the CEO of @food52. The 240 recipes in this lovely cookbook are arranged by season. Learn to use seasonal ingredients from your garden, the farmer’s market or the grocery store.

The Italian Summer Kitchen: Timeless Recipes for La Dolce Vita, by Cathy Whims (April 15, 2025)

In her debut cookbook, Cathy Whims introduces us to “cocina povera,” known as “the food of the poor.” The cookbook has color illustrations (not photos) and step-by-step instructions. Chapters include drinks, appetizers, pasta, pizza, risottos, meat and fish, and desserts. I’ve already pre-ordered my copy!

Kin: Caribbean Recipes for the Modern Kitchen, by Marie Mitchell (March 4, 2025)

Here are 80 recipes influenced by South Asia, Africa, and Latin America, from the daughter of Jamaican immigrants. This book is getting a lot of attention, hype and love on #cookbooktok and #cookbookstagram!
