Here’s the new lineup of cookbooks we’re excited about from DK Books, publishing in Spring 2025.

Baking Across America: A Vintage Recipe Road Trip, by B. Dylan Hollis (May 20, 2025)

Dylan takes a road trip across America, and shares 100 regional and often retro baking recipes from his delicious travels. From Washington, he shares our iconic Nanaimo Bars recipe; and in Texas he learns how to make sheet cakes. A highly anticipated followup to his first cookbook, “Baking Yesteryear.”

By Heart: Recipes to Hold Near and Dear, by Hailee Catalano (April 15, 2025)

This Italian American chef worked in restaurants for years, but missed home cooking. She presents 100 recipes for homemade Italian American dishes, plus tips for shopping at the farmer’s market and planning family dinner menus. I’m really looking forward to this cookbook.

Coastal Harvest: Fish – Forage – Feast, by Taku Kondo (March 25, 2025)

The adventurous man behind the Outdoor Chef Life YouTube channel brings us tips for fishing and foraging in coastal areas. There are 85 recipes for fish and foraged mushrooms that incorporate Asian flavors.

Dessert Course: Lessons in the Whys and Hows of Baking, by Benjamin Delwiche (April 1, 2025)

Benjamin the Baker, a math teacher by day, teaches us foundational skills for baking, as well as the science and the hows and whys of baking. The book presents 30 core recipes with variations and a flow chart. Some of the recipes you will learn to make include cinnamon coffee cake, pie dough, dinner rolls, sugar cookies, and cream pies.

Honey, What Do We Got?: A Week-by-Week Pregnancy Cookbook, by Tom Sullivan and Rachel Sullivan (April 8, 2025)

100 gluten-free and dairy-free recipes for pregnant mothers. Recipes are arranged by trimester. Each week, the recipes are themed around the size of your growing baby (blueberries to eggplants to watermelons!)

Let’s Make It!: A Mexican-American Culinary Adventure, by Alfredo Garcia (April 22, 2025)

The Mexican-American chef known online as Freddsters shares Mexican twists on American classics. The 100 fusion recipes here include Jalapeno Popper Tacos, Chori-queso Baked Spaghetti, and Poblano Caesar Salad.

Life-Changing Salads: 100 Plant-Based Salads and Dressings Beyond Your Wildest Greens, by Danielle Brown (April 22, 2025)

Danielle from Healthy Girl Kitchen shares healthy plant-based vegan and vegetarian friendly salad and dressing recipes. She also shares tips for meal prepping, storing leftovers, and making no-lettuce salads.

Monsoon: Delicious Indian Recipes for Every Day and Season, by Asma Khan (March 11, 2025)

Here is another fantastic Indian cookbook from Asma Khan. This one teaches us the foundations: how to roast and grind spices, how to layer flavor, how to cook with ghee and chilies, and how to properly cook onions. The book presents the six core Ayurvedic tastes, including Tangy, Bitter, Hot, Sweet, Sour, and Salty. Each taste is correlated to one of the six seasons in Bengali culture. There are 80 recipes in this cookbook.

Naturally Vegan: Delicious Recipes from Around the World That Just Happen to Be Plant-based, by Julius Fiedler (May 20, 2025)

100 nutrient-rich vegan recipes from a variety of cultures and cuisines around the world. Contents include appetizers, legumes, grains, whole meals, vegetables, dips & condiments, and sweets.
