November 2024 Cookbook Divas Book Club Pick

Our book club pick for November 2024 is “Be Ready When the Luck Happens,” by Ina Garten (via Amazon; affiliate link)

This is the long-awaited memoir from “The Barefoot Contessa,” a prodigious cookbook author, charming television host and fabulous party hostess. Her new book covers her difficult childhood, meeting and marrying Jeffrey, working at a specialty food store in the Hamptons, and her path to owning a shop, getting her TV show and writing her cookbooks.

I’m so excited to dive into her story and learn more about her life behind the camera!

If you have a discovery+ subscription (via Amazon; affiliate link), you can stream all the Barefoot Contessa shows from seasons 1-10.

We may watch some of her episodes of her shows (including “Be My Guest with Ina Garten“) too. I’ll make every effort to find publicly available (free) videos for us to watch.
