Cooking Our Way Through Autumn with the Better Homes & Gardens New Cook Book

We’re in that interesting transition time between the end of summer and the beginning of autumn and the rainy season.

My cooking habits are slowly starting to change. We’re not slicing up watermelon anymore, nor cooking hot dogs on the grill, but we’re still grilling corn on the cob, making baked beans and slicing up homegrown heirloom tomatoes.

In the kitchen I am getting ready for slow cooker season, crockpot meals, making soup, and baking pies. Vegetarian bean chili for me and meaty chili for my family members.

I wanted to share a preview of the fantastic cookbook recently gifted to me by the publisher IPG Publishing – the 100th anniversary edition of the Better Homes & Gardens cookbook.

It’s going to be a fantastic and comprehensive resource for my upcoming autumn and winter cooking, baking and entertaining.
