6 Stunning Sets of Vintage Midcentury Drinking Glasses

I’m enjoying a leisurely Saturday in bed, drinking tea, catching up on some trash TV and browsing Etsy for vintage items. I found a few sets of fantastic vintage tumblers for water, juice, lemonade, iced tea or sodas, and wanted to share them with you.

The colorful flower pattern on this pair of 1970s glass snifters is ideal for summer! Imagine sipping a mimosa or Planters Punch out of this!

One of my grandmothers had this exact same set of striped tumblers from the 1960s. We kids mostly drank milk or Concord Grape juice (grown from the Concord grapes in my grandparents’ back pasture garden!)

Wouldn’t it be a thrill to drink orange juice (or better yet, screwdrivers) out of this set of vintage 1970s Dominion Orange Blossom tumblers?

These midcentury “Rain Shower” patterned cocktail glasses could not be more perfect for spring! I might use them for pink lemonade for careful older children, and they would look fantastic for serving White Russian cocktails as well.

I must be loving the color orange lately because I can hardly resist these 1950s orange flowers juice tumblers! I’d want to drink only milk or water out of them so as to better show off those vibrant colors.

Want to see some Atomic Age starburst style glasses? Here’s a Hazel Atlas set of tumblers from the 1960s. These highball glasses are perfect for cocktails such as a Gin & Tonic, Rum & Coke, or a Mojito. The aqua, yellow and green colors are perfect for your beach house!

Happy sipping,

Carrie
