Winter is here, and we’ve had more cozy quiet time at home to listen to podcasts. Here are five food and cooking podcasts we’re enjoying listening to right now. Hope you find a new favorite!
1. Didn’t I Just Feed You?
Meghan and Stacie share tips for busy caregivers and working parents on feeding your family. Their podcast website is one of the nicest and most comprehensive we’ve seen. Check out their Community section, for example!
Recent podcast episodes have covered latkes with Jewish cooking expert Leah Koenig; vegan baking with Shanika Graham; Disney food and drink with Disney expert Ashley Craft; and an episode on how to make better sheet pan meals.

2. Eat Drink Asia
This podcast from The South China Morning Post teaches us the forgotten history of popular Asian dishes.
Recent episodes highlighted the Portuguese origins of Japanese tempura; introduced us to Hong Kong egg tarts and their medieval origins; discussed how Xia Long Bao soup dumplings went global; and argued about whether a poached chicken dish originated in Singapore or Malaysia.
Sadly, the podcast hasn’t had any new episodes for a year, but we’re enjoying the back catalog of episodes and the knowledge presented within.

3. Line Cook Thoughts
This podcast shares the stories of food industry workers, especially line cooks, chefs, and cooking instructors.
There are over 150 back episodes to catch up on! Particularly check out Episode 150 about how patience and “letting go” are needed to succeed in the food industry, and you might enjoy Episode 141 with “Lady Line Cook.”

We’d love to hear from you in the comments below – which food, cooking or cookbook podcast should we listen to next?
-Carrie
One of my very favorite podcasts is “A Taste of the Past” on Heritage Radio Network and hosted by Linda Pelaccio. There hasn’t been much activity for several months now, but the podcast goes all the way back to 2009, with close to 400 episodes already aired, so there’s plenty to catch up on!
Check out the well seasoned librarian (Dean Jones) for lots of insights with cookbook authors!
Oh! We follow him on Instagram but I didn’t realize he has a podcast!
Oh, awesome! I will definitely check that out, thank you for the suggestion!
I really enjoy Dinner Sisters podcast. Two sisters make the same three recipes and talk about how they worked in their homes. It is fun with lots of great tips and ideas!
