Whenever I think about exploring different types of food, I tend to check out food bloggers. Malaysian food is phenomenal, but a lot of people haven’t tried it before!
Come check out these four Malaysian food bloggers. They provide recipes, videos, and techniques to help you out!
Yum!
Rasa Malaysia
I see over 150 Malaysian dishes on her website! I love that her explanations are clear and concise. Her recipes are very educational if you have never made Malaysian cuisine before. The recipes are very straightforward and perfect for a beginner!
Best of all, the food photography is magnificent. Each dish looks clean and crisp! My mouth is watering as we speak.
The Malaysian Kitchen
Christina Arokiasamy is an amazing chef with a wonderful blog. I love her story and the passion she has for cooking.
The photos are bright and beautiful and each dish is super simple. I was floored by how little ingredients were required and by the easy instructions for a lot of these fantastic dishes.
She even has a cookbook that was released in 2017 called The Malaysian Kitchen (via Amazon; affiliate link). It has 150 recipes for simple home cooking. You can test this cookbook out by checking out her website first.
Mama Jay’s Recipes
If you are looking to dig right in, Mamma Jay’s Recipes is a great place to start. Malay cuisine is a combination of Indian and Chinese cuisine making it its own flavor bomb!
Each dish goes right into the recipe with a very small blurb about it.
They update every once in a while, and I like the recipes they’ve provided so far.
KY Speaks
KY Speaks is a food blog and also a travel blog. I know I get inspired to travel to places after trying some popular cuisine. Now you can see what traveling and food look like in Malaysia.
Their blog has been around since the late 2000s! I love seeing their journey. You can watch their amazing videos over on YouTube!
