Here in the Seattle area, it’s been beautifully snowy and chillingly cold. We’re spending more time indoors, so we’ve been indulging in a few more cooking and food related television shows lately!
Take a peek at what we’re currently enjoying watching!

Passionate amateur bakers go head-to-head with seasoned baking professionals in this competition series, hosted by former White House chef Bill Yosses.
Candified – Home for the Holidays – Hulu
Candy artisans and master confectioners work to create a life-size gingerbread house made of candy in this four-episode series. The episodes feature Candy Queen Jackie Sorkin.
Crime Scene Kitchen – Hulu
Bakers must decode what type of dessert was made using just crumbs and a few elusive clues. Starring Joel McHale.
The Great Canadian Baking Show – YouTube
Canadian Broadcasting Corp’s version of the popular “Great British Bake-Off” which we know here in America as “The Great British Baking Show.”
Project Bakeover – Hulu
Not much actual cooking or baking is shown, but I’m loving this “bakery rescue” show. A professional baker and bakery operator teams up with a restaurant designer to makeover and help save failing bakeries.
We’d love to hear your recommendations for the food and cooking shows you’re currently watching! Let us know in the comments below!
Thanks for sharing your recommendations. My all-time favorite food show is ‘Delicious Destinations’ with Andrew Zimmern on the Travel Channel and Cooking Channel. Each episode has the host traveling to a different city around the world and sharing the iconic dishes of that region.
oh!! I will definitely have to check that one out! Thank you, Serena!
