Lovecraft Cocktails: Elixirs & Libations from the Lore of H. P. Lovecraft

The author of Lovecraft Cocktails: Elixirs & Libations from the Lore of H. P. Lovecraft also wrote The Necronomnomnom: Recipes and Rites from the Lore of H. P. Lovecraft! Mike Slater provides a whole world of Lovecraft through food and drink!

There are 75 delicious and malicious recipes.

My favorites are the Hell Residente, Mind Replacer, and Cthulu Takes Manhattan

The illustrations for each recipe are fantastic. Everything is hilariously written. Recipes appear in cryptic rhymes and arcane rituals but are always easy (and fun) to follow. Bring delight and fright to your Halloween party with Lovecraft Cocktails: Elixirs & Libations from the Lore of H. P. Lovecraft cookbook.

Witch’s Brew: Magickal Cocktails to Raise the Spirits

One of my favorite Halloween themes is witches. I imagine enigmatic drinks that feel a little dark. The Witch’s Brew: Magickal Cocktails to Raise the Spirits cocktail book is for actual witches. This cocktail book goes beyond Halloween!

There are forty recipes throughout this cookbook. All the beverages include information about enchanting ingredients and why they’ve been used to address certain ills.

Think of these as healing potions or ways to connect with the divine.

The book lists the best moon phase to drink each refreshment and occasion.

One of my favorite features of this cocktail book is that there are non-alcoholic options listed for each recipe.

The Witch’s Brew: Magickal Cocktails to Raise the Spirits cocktail book will come in handy for your magical friends.

The Alchemist Cocktail Book: Master the Dark Arts of Mixology

The cover of The Alchemist Cocktail Book: Master the Dark Arts of Mixology is stunning. I admit this is why I picked up the book in the first place!

The Alchemist is a fantastic bar based in the United Kingdom. Their motto:

“We’re masters in the dark arts of molecular mixology and demons in the kitchen. Our mixologists create every cocktail with an obsessive eye for detail, presented in vessels orchestrated to add a devilish dash of theatre, they bedazzle, bewitch and set the scene for everything we do.”

If you’re looking for a compendium of dark and mystical beverages, you’ve come to the right place.

The Alchemist Cocktail Book: Master the Dark Arts of Mixology provides over 100 distinct cocktails bound to impress your guests. Some drinks are twists on classics others are entirely original. For instance, there is a recipe for Caramelised Rum Punch and Smokey Old Fashioned.

There is a whole chapter on enchanting non-alcoholic beverages as well. That way everyone can enjoy the party!
