I have moments where I forget I am a millennial. I feel like I can “hang” with the Gen Xers pretty well. It isn’t until someone says something like “Do you listen to your voicemail?” that I realize I am truly a millennial. I even use millennial terminology – I can’t get away from it, so I might as well embrace it.
Cooking is the one aspect of my generation pool where I feel like I am different. Maybe this cookbook will tell me otherwise.

The fact that there even is a millennial cookbook, surprised me. Since I am a millennial and the title of this cookbook cracked me up, I needed to check it out. Let’s see what kinds of goodies there are inside A Cookbook for Millennials: And Literally Anyone Else but IDK If the Jokes Will Make Sense Sorry 🙁
To be honest, the ONLY foods my fellow millennial friends can make are brunch-oriented. This explains why their brunch section in this cookbook is so strong. I have a feeling this has to do with doctors constantly telling us breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
There are a little over 30 recipes in this cookbook that are simple, easy, and perfect for those millennials that only get take-out.
The recipes are not necessarily the healthiest, but they are tasty and convenient. This book isn’t afraid to suggest the use of pre-made condiments or frozen vegetables. As long as you are getting up to cook meals yourself – this is a start.
Some dishes you will find in this cookbook are: Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken, Cast Iron Pizza, Breakfast Hash, and Breakfast Burritos!
A Cookbook for Millennials: And Literally Anyone Else but IDK If the Jokes Will Make Sense Sorry 🙁 is hysterical – I can’t stop laughing. The graphics are cute and illustrate exactly what kind of dish you will be making. For instance, the Cookie Bomb recipe has a few photos of adorable cookies about to go off. One does look like it went off and the quote below says “Ur stomach”.
It is sassy, sarcastic, and full of snark – with cute drawings to boot.
I have to say, this cookbook might be the food Bible for millennials, it truly speaks our language!
