Many of us are living in small spaces. That includes apartments, RVs, tiny houses, and even boats! It’s becoming more common since large houses are becoming increasingly unaffordable.
Now, we know that means limited amounts of counter space and storage. There are only a few pots and pans you can have on hand at one time. How are people with tiny kitchens going to be able to make big meals? This is the future – so let’s hope this cookbook helps us out.

Author Annie Mahle explains that she used to cook in a tiny kitchen. With a kitchen that is only 6′ x 8′, she prepared three gorgeous meals from scratch every day. Sometimes even for up to 30 people at a time. How on Earth is that possible? Let’s find out…
Before we even dive into the recipes we learn about the kitchen setup. This includes using ingredients already in the pantry rather than going to the grocery store. Another great suggestion is utilizing leftovers as ingredients for the following day. Lastly, we should create vertical storage options and buy utensils that nest. All of these tips help us create flavorful meals in minimal space.
One of the things I appreciate are the recipes that utilize toaster ovens for those who don’t have a large oven appliance. This includes Cheese-Stuffed Meatballs with Fresh Tomato Sauce and Fettuccini. She has literally thought of everything.

What a great idea for a cookbook! While my kitchen isn’t tiny, it is a moderate sized gallery. One thing I do is store most of my baking pans in my oven. I’ve also resorted to storing a few small items in my microwave temporarily.
I have a lot of friends who do the exact same thing. I love the microwave tip! Thank you for sharing! 🙂
