The more I’ve learned how to eat vegan, the more I am realizing how I enjoy a more plant-based lifestyle. Admittedly, I miss burgers, bacon, and cheese, so I’m incorporating meat back into my diet. There are recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and even desserts. I am really excited to attempt a dessert Buddha bowl! All of these dishes are nutrient rich and yummy. I know even the pickiest kids will enjoy these Buddha bowls and will forget they are eating vegetables.
All the Buddha Bowls are very colorful and perfectly photographed. My mouth is watering just looking at them.

The introduction breaks down all the essentials such as incorporating new flavors and new ways to have “meat.” For the most part, this cookbook acknowledges that we are learning how to eat differently. Sometimes it does feel like an overhaul, but with this cookbook the transition will be a breeze.
These recipes are very easy and the ingredients are easily accessible. Going plant-based will be effortless while using this cookbook. Plus, you won’t even taste the difference once you get used to cooking differently.

I am very curious about The Plant-Based Cookbook: Vegan, Gluten-Free, Oil-Free Recipes for Lifelong Health cookbook. It seems ultra-healthy, which obviously isn’t a bad thing. This cookbook has a very lengthy introduction on the importance of having a high plant diet. The author is a pharmacist, certified holistic nutritionist, and trained plant-based chef and it shows in this cookbook.
I was surprised to see so many of my favorites, from a health-oriented cookbook. This means that healthy eating is starting to look scrumptious! Maybe we won’t have to sacrifice some of our favorites in the name of healthy eating! If you’re looking to improve your health, this is the cookbook for you.

Sometimes, cookbooks take themselves a little too seriously. This is why I genuinely appreciate Bad Manners: Party Grub: For Social Motherf*ckers: A Vegan Cookbook. We can eat better and still enjoy what we cook. Obviously, this cookbook not for the faint of heart as it uses profanity throughout – it is encouraging, I swear! (No pun intended)
Bad Manners is a whole series of vegan cookbooks. This one in particular is about party food and large gatherings. We can still provide tasty snacks and meals even for a huge gatherings. Plus, this will make sure that no one who has dietary restrictions will feel left out of the festivities. The dishes cover all meals of the day and a whole array of cuisines that can be applied to any party theme.
This is a fun, no nonsense cookbook with a lot of amazing tips and tricks to make plant-based eating a breeze.

It is extremely easy to navigate which coincides with how straightforward each dish is. There is easily over 50 recipes that range from breakfast and dessert, to “hand held” foods like tacos and sandwiches.
The recipes are ideal for those who lead busy lives and prefer to utilize as little appliances as possible. Almost all of them are just a one-pot or pan stop. Besides easy composition, it is an easy clean up. They all sound delicious too. Most of them are some family favorites as well, like biscuits, burgers, and much more.

The food looks vibrant and colorful! This is truly a plant-forward book as there are recipes that have some meat and dairy products, but it is mostly vegan.
They have in each recipe a section called “The Plan” which simply breaks down exactly what you will be doing, so it doesn’t feel as overwhelming. Some of the dishes have a lot of ingredients, because the more plants the better, but they are also quite simple. There are alternatives to most of the dishes so they are very versatile. I enjoy that a lot of the recipes cover a wide variety of cuisines, so you’ll never get bored.

I am very curious about cooking from 30-Minute Whole-Food, Plant-Based Cookbook: Easy Recipes With No Salt, Oil, or Refined Sugar cookbook. Mostly because it seems like a dream come true to eat that healthy and with dishes that taste so good. Everything looks wonderful!
There are a lot of useful tools in this cookbook, such as a chart of “Always eat, sometimes, and never”, which is then divided up into more sections of food types. They’ve kindly given us a weekly menu so we don’t have to do any planning; we just make a grocery list!
This is another great cookbook for plant-based novices. There is so much information that will be helpful for transitioning over.
