Right now, all of my friends are watching (and raving about) “Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy” which you can watch on CNN on Sunday nights. In each episode, he visits a different Italian city, meeting locals, cooking and eating Italian foods with them.
Episodes include Naples and the Amalfi Coast, Rome, Bologna, Milan, Tuscany, and Sicily. This documentary food travel show is proving incredibly popular, and we hope it will be renewed for another season.
I thought we should take a quick revisit of “The Tucci Table: Cooking with Family and Friends,” Stanley Tucci’s March 2020 cookbook (via Amazon; affiliate link).
In this cookbook, Stanley Tucci presents family-friendly, simple-to-make recipes.
Chapters include:

- Desserts
- Basics
I’m most eager to try making his Vegetable Parmigiana; Polenta Frites; Grilled Spring Onions; and Potato and Leek Soup with Fried Parsley!
Take a peek at “The Tucci Table: Cooking with Family and Friends,” (via Amazon; affiliate link) and see what you think.

Also, in case you are interested, Tucci is coming out with a memoir, “Taste; My Life Through Food” (via Amazon; affiliate link) in late October 2021. Since we’ve enjoyed his CNN show so much, Kaiti and I are both eager to read it.
Happy cooking, watching and eating!
