If you could make a dish like the image above, would you? This is pure art and beyond just cooking. In the Chef Cristina Bowerman meets Eugenio Tibaldi cookbook we are encouraged to try to cook stunning dishes that look like pieces of art.

Chef Cristina Bowerman has had a very fun life. Born in Italy, she originally studied foreign language and law, then decided to transition into cooking in the kitchen. She loved America and studied in Texas at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. She has met many wonderful people who have influenced how she runs a kitchen, but she had to go back home to Italy. It was there that she became head chef at Glass Hostaria. She was the only female chef to be awarded a Michelin star in 2010, which drew in a larger audience of people eager to try her food.

Her story is amazing and I love that she later came back to her Italian roots. Even her food is traditional and has hardly been influenced by other chefs she has worked with.

Eugenio Tibaldi is an artist and it shows throughout Chef Cristina Bowerman meets Eugenio Tibaldi cookbook. His work is thought-provoking and distinct. It’s an interesting pairing with Bowerman’s food.

These dishes look like decorations and I might feel really guilty eating them. If I knew how to make this on my own, maybe I wouldn’t feel so guilty.

There are 38 recipes and 38 artworks in this stunning cookbook that will make you feel chef-worthy. They are listed in both English and Italian!

I think it goes without saying that these recipes are quite difficult. I notice that there is a serving size, but not an approximate prep and cook time – I have a feeling this may take a bit. Many of the ingredients are also very unique or there’s an abundance of little things to create these delightful morsels. No one ever said being a chef was easy!

I am fascinated by all the dishes in Chef Cristina Bowerman meets Eugenio Tibaldi cookbook. I know if I made anything like this for friends or family they would be in awe! I think if you want to give these recipes a go, you definitely have to be an experienced cook. This cookbook is also great if you just enjoy flipping through and looking at the magnificent pieces of art, because that’s what all of these dishes are.

Would you attempt to cook any of Chef Cristina Bowerman’s recipes or just enjoy both of these Italian artists work? Let us know in the comments what you think!
