6 Delightful Vegan Cookbooks Released in December

I have a couple friends who have decided to go all vegan by the end of this year. I would say it’s a similar concept to “Dryuary” but you’re overturning your whole diet. I have always been fascinated with vegan cooking, so perhaps by the end of 2020 I’ll be transitioning from animal based to plant based myself! Note: Some of these cookbooks are plant based versus exclusively vegan, but are easily interchangeable.

Going vegan is now really easy and incredibly tasty. Don’t believe me? Take a peek at some vegan cookbooks coming out in December that will change your mind.

Simply Delicious Vegan: 100 Plant-Based Recipes by the creator of From My Bowl is a must-have cookbook. Caitlin Shoemaker makes vegan cooking entertaining and delicious. This cookbook is divided up into many unique sections such as “waking up”, “slurps”, sauces, and much more! I think it’s helpful that she begins with what exactly needs to be in your pantry to start going vegan cooking.

Most of these recipes are easy and ingredients are readily accessible. Who says you can’t have tasty vegan food? Simply Delicious Vegan: 100 Plant-Based Recipes by the creator of From My Bowl cookbook is packed so full of flavor that you won’t even know what you’re eating vegan.

I couldn’t resist the Incredible Vegan Dumplings: 50 Authentic Recipes with Delicious, Plant-Based Fillings cookbook. Since I have an obsession with dumplings, making them vegan-only seemed natural to me. You can create all kinds of flavorful dumplings with this cookbook and it will be one hundred percent vegan.

Making a bunch of vegan dumplings would be great for parties or just a family meal. Remember, you can freeze these and recook them at a later time, so don’t worry about large batches. There are minimal ingredients required and they are quite easy to make! Plus, there are different ways to prepare them, such as frying them, putting them in soup, steaming, and beyond.

In the Plant-Powered Protein: 125 Recipes for Using Today’s Amazing Meat Alternatives cookbook the author focuses on flavor. Regardless of your reasons for switching to plant based, Nava Atlas embraces the plant protein movement that is taking over.
