Katie Shelly’s Picture Cook: See, Make, Eat came out in paperback this week. Here’s a cookbook that managed to surprise me – I’ve never seen one quite like this before!

This cookbook is perfect for visual learners. Instead of text instructions, the recipes follow illustrated guidelines. The step-by-step pics guide you through prepping and cooking each dish.
At the bottom of each recipe, the ingredients and measurements are illustrated in a visual strip.
I personally find this a very confusing method of following a recipe, but that’s because I am a speed reader and textual learner. I can think of quite a few friends who would find this “quick and easy” style visual cookbook extremely helpful and inspiring.
